Lindsay Junk, President, YogaSix

YogaSix President Lindsay Junk’s personal philosophy emphasizes a compassionate and inclusive approach that ensures yoga is accessible and welcoming to everyone at YogaSix. “We drive sustainable growth in the same way,” she said. “By truly meeting people where they are. I believe in fostering an environment where our team and franchisees feel valued, motivated and empowered to grow.” That empowerment helped the yoga brand, part of Xponential Fitness, generate strong sales growth. From 2021 to 2023, YogaSix’s sales grew from $21 million to $73 million, a 247.6 percent boost per Franchise Times’ estimate. “Building and nurturing strong relationships is key,” Junk said. “I strive to guide our brand with a balance of head and heart. Ultimately, sustainable growth comes from listening to our team and community, and staying grounded in our mission to make yoga accessible and positive for all.” YogaSix’s unit count is up, too, from 130 studios in 2021 to 197 in 2023, an increase of 51.5 percent. Junk said as more studios open, the brand is working to extend brand awareness nationally, with efforts to reach consumers on the connection between mental health and the mind-body connection. For Junk, the growth path has been marked more by some external problems than internal. “In the fitness industry, and especially with the challenges of the pandemic, it’s easy to get sidetracked by market changes and unexpected hurdles,” Junk said. “My approach is to bring our team and franchisees back to areas where we can make an impact and stay grounded in our mission.”
