Engage 121 is taking care of social media for Curves International.
The social media monitoring company has launched a service specially designed for national brands with local franchises.
The application oversees Twitter, Facebook and Foursquare to spread Curves’ message on social media sites. According to Engage 121’s website, the app also allows customers to help and suggest and even design products, and allows them to engage in the conversation through Facebook focus groups and drive traffic to the site.
Engage 121 is not the only company that has developed such applications for franchises, but it acts as an "operator," posting for Curves’ 10,000 franchisees to ensure a "unified message about their brand across social media while also engaging customers at a local level," a release says.
Selected users can tweet preapproved, scheduled messages regarding any deals, discounts, community programs for franchisees.
