Company Description

Bojangles is a Southeastern chain of fast-food restaurants. It offers southern staples such as grits and Cajun dishes, as well as biscuits.

The first location opened in 1977 in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the first franchise location opened just a year later. Bojangles more recently initiated a new restaurant design complete with a more contemporary look and a “Biscuit Theater” where customers can watch the biscuit-making process. While the brand largely serves the Southeast U.S. region, expansion is underway in markets such as New York, New Jersey, Nevada and Arizona.

In January 2019, private equity firms The Jordan Company and Durational Capital Management acquired Bojangles.
