House-made beer, or craft beer, seems to be all the rage in restaurants.

It was served in the White House during the Super Bowl, and for a limited time, Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurants are showcasing their own brew and expanding their menu.

Beginning February 1, the latest menu items such as Texas caviar dip and made-from-scratch tortilla chips will be paired with the Brewers Select beer at the franchised restaurant.

In addition to the new menu items and seasonal beer, a guest will win a trip for two to Denver’s Great American Beer Festival in September 2011.

Each Gordon Biersch location will feature a unique beer that their in-house brewer has specially brewed for the limited-time-only promotion.

Other items on the new menu include: fish taquitos; blackened chicken quesadilla; brewer’s select appetizer combo; coconut shrimp; Buffalo wings; Greek flatbread and rosemary chicken flatbread.
