Javier Rosenberg has been promoted to chief operating officer of Radisson, and executive vice president of Carlson, Managed Hotels, Americas.  In his new role, Rosenberg will continue to oversee all Carlson’s owned-and-managed hotels within the Americas and will now oversee the operations of all Radisson franchised hotels in the U.S. He was most recently the vice president, owned and managed operations, Carlson Hotels, Americas.

Mark Liston has been named president of Glass Doctor following the recent resignation of Mark Dawson, who is leaving to pursue other ventures. Dawson had been a part of the Glass Doctor team for more than 20 years and president since 2005. Liston has been vice president at Glass Doctor for the past two years. With more than 30 years of franchise management experience, Michael Gai was named vice president of operations at Glass Doctor following Liston’s promotion. Gai had been the director of national account services throughout 2011.

Subway promoted Joe Chaves to director of operations and Rebecca Audet as director of worldwide training. Chaves has been with Subway for five years, including time as a Dunkin’ Donuts/Baskin-Robbins franchisee. Audet is a Subway franchisee, and oversees 1,000-plus restaurants as manager of U.S. and international company-run (or held) territories. Audet will continue this fieldwork in addition to training.

Russ Klein, former global chief marketing officer at Burger King, has been named chief marketing officer of Arby’s Restaurant Group as part of an effort to turn the business around.

Klein replaces Steve Davis, who left Arby’s in September after nearly three years in the CMO post.

Klein was a consultant between the Arby’s assignment and his Burger King position.

Honest-1 Auto Care President and CEO Jack Keilt assumed the majority interest in Honest-1 Auto Care, with COO Rissy Sutherland and new investors rounding out the ownership. Keilt and Sutherland will take over the ownership shares previously held by Gary and Lisa Messer, former chairman and secretary of Honest-1. Financed by New York-based private equity fund, SLC Capital Partners, Honest-1’s ownership transaction brings new partners, including: SLC Founding Partner Sam Shimer and Jan-Pro Chairman Jack Lapointe.

After practicing franchise litigation for 10 years, Jean-Marc Leclerc has joined Sotos LLP. As part of his commercial litigation practice, Leclerc has defended class actions involving franchise, contract and competition claims. He is also experienced in appellate advocacy, built on his clerkships at both the Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.

Maria Kretowicz has been hired on as marketing manager at Bach to Rock, a music education franchise. Kretowicz is responsible for the strategic development and tactical implementation of marketing programs for Bach to Rock and its local music schools. Her role will include creating a strong national brand and supporting local growth of the six-location franchise system based in Washington, D.C.
