In chicken, words matter. “Tenders,” “finger” and “strips” get tossed around like fries in a basket, but they’re not the same. A tenderloin is a specific muscle, the pectoralis minor, tucked under the breast. It’s naturally tender and, in the right hands, downright craveable. Fingers and strips are usually about shape and preparation. They’re often breast meat cut into strips, and in some cases, “strips” can be made from white or dark meat or even formed meat, so long as they finish as a strip.

Huey Magoo’s doesn’t dance around definitions. We serve “the best 3% of the chicken,” the tenderloin — The Filet Mignon of Chicken® — all the time. That quality promise is the backbone of the brand and the first reason guests taste the difference.

A Focused Menu, a Higher Standard

Huey Magoo’s is intentionally simple: hand-breaded or grilled chicken tenderloin meals, plus wraps, sandwiches, salads and signature sauces — made fresh and cooked to order. Keeping the menu tight allows the team to execute at a consistently high level and with speed, while the tenderloin specification keeps the eating experience a cut above.

Formats That Fit Real Estate Today

Huey Magoo’s supports multiple footprints to meet your market needs: Inline (1,400–3,000 sq. Ft) End cap with Drive-thru/Pick-up, Free-standing Drive-thru (2,400–3,600 sq. ft), and Express (700–1,250 sq. ft) for non-traditional sites. We also embrace conversions, turning former restaurant spaces into Huey Magoo’s locations with efficient buildouts that save time and reduce costs. This flexibility, whether new builds or conversions, helps you align unit economics with trade-area realities without diluting the brand.

Straight Talk on the Franchise Terms

For qualified franchise candidates, the Franchise Fee is $35,000; Royalties are 5%; National Marketing is 2%. We require a commitment to develop at least three restaurants in new markets, with territories currently available across the contiguous United States.

Training & Support are built to scale: an initial program (classroom and on-the-job), high-volume drive-thru training, plus on-site opening support for your first two restaurants.

Timely incentives (and a nod to those who served)

Franchisees who commit to an accelerated development schedule under a qualifying Development Agreement may be eligible for our Development Incentive Program: a reduced initial franchise fee of $25,000 and a 1% royalty reduction for the first 12 months of operations, after which the standard 5% royalty applies. Incentives are subject to program deadlines and conditions.

Huey Magoo’s proudly supports U.S. military veterans with a $17,500 discount on the initial franchise fee for their first restaurant. To qualify, veterans must have been honorably discharged, provide a certified DD Form 214, own at least 25% of the restaurant, meet program requirements and request participation before signing the Franchise Agreement.
