Mark Jameson is the chief development officer at Propelled Brands, which owns My Salon Suite.
A year and half into Susan Boresow’s tenure as brand president, My Salon Suite continues to expand its footprint and make impressive gains. The company, whose franchisees lease individual, fully furnished suites to beauty and lifestyle professionals, saw three-year sales growth of 45.3 percent and three-year unit growth of 35.5 percent to finish 2024 with $147 million from 355 locations.
Mark Jameson, the chief development officer of platform company Propelled Brands, said the brand’s momentum carried over to 2025 with more than 30 openings.
“We see plenty more room for growth as we continue to expand our services beyond traditional beauty services for hair and nails to attract other tenants,” he said. “Some of our suites are now offering things like massages, Botox, facials and even tattoo services. We even have people now doing upholstery stores and high-end custom clothes and things of that nature, which broadens our salon communities and is just another point of differentiation.”
Jameson credited Boresow’s arrival in May 2024 with helping reignite growth for My Salon Suite.
“She has accomplished some amazing things for us, focusing on franchisee profitability and how to reduce tenant turnover and helping them run their business smarter and better. She has helped attract larger and better-capitalized members into the system who are positioned to provide three- to five-year paybacks for us,” Jameson said. “Our pipeline now includes around 150 locations, with most of those signings coming from new candidates, which is always going to be great thing for a brand looking to grow.”
