International Dairy Queen Inc. plans on expanding operations along the Great Wall of China one scoop at a time.
Bloomberg News is reporting that the U.S. fast-food and ice-cream chain owned by Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc., has announced plans to expand Chinese operations by some "60 percent" by December 2011 from more than 300 now.
China has 1.3 billion people. That's a lot of sweet-tooths, and potential franchisees.
